Now, here is the first discussion topic:
What three brands do you identify with, and why? Brands could be.... Harley Davidson, Apple, Coke, PBR, Nike, even stores like Taret or Wal-Mart. What brands strike a chord with you? Why? Are any of them brands you like but don't buy (like, say, Aston Martin?)
I guess I would associate myself with Mossy Oak/Real Tree, Coke, and Etnies. I like Mossy Oak and Real Tree because I love to hunt. Just the technology that goes into the camouflage these days is crazy. I LOVE Coke because it's straight up better than Pepsi. As for Etnies, I like Etnies because of the styles they come out with and how comfortable they are. Plus, most of the time I see somebody wearing that style of shoe, it's usually DC.
ReplyDeleteI hate to jump on the band wagon but I can not live with out my iPhone. It is like having a computer in your pocket. The first one I bought I lost a month later and didn't think twice about getting a replacement iPhone even though it now cost me $400 to do so. I will always have an iPhone simply because they are the best phones on the market. Another brand I associate with is Stolichnaya vodka, more commonly know as "Stoli." The reason I love this product so much is purely on taste and price. It is a mid-shelf vodka with a great taste and reasonable price. The third brand name I am dedicated to is based on scarcity. This wonderful product is Vibram Five Finger Shoes. Vibram is the only company I am aware of that makes shoes of this nature therefor I always buy from them.
ReplyDeleteThree brands I identify with are Smashbox, Gold Coast, and TOMS. After spending a lot of time taking advice on what brand of make-up to by and not being that impressed, I bought Smashbox because I liked the packaging and it ended up being perfect for me. Gold Coast is my cigarette of choice because they are SUPER affordable and don't taste horrible- but, they're going out of business so apparently I am the only one singing their praises. I love TOMS shoes because they're comfortable and unique without being over the top- and you get a little karma boost buying them because for every pair you buy another pair goes to somebody in need.
ReplyDeleteInteresting choices so far... I must say I haven't heard of a few of these. I'm also curious if some of these brands raised their prices slightly.. maybe, 20% ($50 shoes are now $60)... would you still buy them? Or go for something cheaper?
ReplyDeleteThree brands i would identify myself with would have to be Ugly Stick fishing rods, Air Jordan, and Dr. Pepper. When i was younger i dreamed to play in the NBA and be "like mike". As soon as i started playing basketball i would save my money and persuade my parents for air jordan shoes. Throughout my entire highschool career the only thing touching my feet would be jordans. As far as Ugly sticks and Dr. Pepper goes since i was 4 ive fished on a regular basis with my grandpa and all we would drink was dp and the only rods we would use would be ugly sticks. These three brands i have become accustom to and i can easily identify with them
ReplyDeleteIf the brands I chose raised their prices, I'd probably still buy the things I am loyal to because I actually LIKE the product- like the make-up and the shoes. I would NEVER buy Gold Coast cigarettes if they increased their price because the deciding factor in my purchase of the product is based solely on the fact that they are dirt cheap.
ReplyDeleteThree brands that I identify with is NIKE, RALPH LAUREN, an XBOX. Nike because I've grown fond of their sneakers an apparrel since I've been a child just seemed like all the "cool people" wore nike from neighborhood people -celebrities.Ralph Lauren cuz I love polos an khaki shorts an the appeal to me with there fashion of clothes.XBOX jus appeals to me from graphics, gameplay, gamespeed, an Blockbuster titles never gotten into PS3 or Wii sure there'll good products they just dont appeal to me. All the brands I like I buy from cant say I dont like other brands I just dont buy from them "usually"
ReplyDeleteThe three brands that I can most identify with would have to be Kellogg's, Nikon and Sunkist. Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal was my all time favorite thing to eat for breakfast when I was younger. I could never get enough. I didn't need tiny marshmellows in my cereal to enjoy breakfast. I can identify with Nikon because I am in love with photography and my Nikon camera along with the others I've used have been very reliable. There are so many different styles, they're sturdy (as sturdy as a camera can be) and I trust that they will help me take a great shot. When it comes to Sunkist orange soda, I just really enjoy drinking it. The taste is great and it will never go out of style. It's great in the summer and provides a reminder that summer is just around the corner while we sulk in our houses during the winter. Lets face it, our winters suck. It's nice to have a little pick-me-up.
ReplyDeleteThe 3 top brands i identify with are Micheal Jordan shoes,Stafford, and Android Cell phones. I like Micheal Jordan shoes purely because of comfort if they weren't as comfotable as they are i wouldn't like them.Stafford is an old brand that makes formal wear, they are a little expensive but their white T's are the best i've ever had. Also Android cell phones are the main leading competitor of I-Phones, I feel they are the future of cells phones.
ReplyDeleteIf these brands were raised in price i would still be loyal to them as long as there current quality stayed.
For those who drink pop,
ReplyDeleteCan you rate these qualities in order of importance:
taste
price
healthiness
how it makes you feel (like Jessica's comment above)
where you can buy it
(other?)
I don't usually drink pop but when i do i drink Sprite.
ReplyDeleteTaste- I really like the crisp smooth taste and also the lemon lime blend compliment eachother very well. It tastes refreshing and is really fizzy.
Price- It's moderately priced as far as pop goes and is one of the top known beverages.
Healthiness- I think it's the healhiest pop because it doesn't have caffeine and it's very low in sugar and sodium, plus clear liquids are better for you than dark liquids.
How it makes me feel- It makes me feel like im drinking something that's not that bad for me and plus their slogan is obey your thirst and that's exactly how it makes me feel.
Where you can buy it?- You can buy it anywhere in the U.S. and probably across the world it's a Coke product and it's very popular in Canada, also it was introduced to compete against 7Up in 1961.
